The former OU Regional Director of Western States and Assistant Director of OU West Coast, Rabbi Adir Posy was recently appointed as the director of the Pepa & Rabbi Joseph Karasick Department of Synagogue & Community Services. In this capacity, he oversees the Orthodox Union’s work with synagogues, communities and day schools throughout North America to enhance Orthodox Jewish life. Rabbi Posy focuses on professional and lay leadership within synagogues, providing guidance and best practices to help synagogues thrive.
Rabbi Posy, who also serves as Associate Rabbi at Beth Jacob Congregation in Los Angeles, is a father of six and is keenly interested in the intersection of medicine and Halacha and the construction of community eruvin.
